I served as as the Marketing and Communications Support Coordinator at Arbella Insurance Group from May, 2021 to April, 2024.
In this role, I worked with a variety of subject matter experts to turn complex information into digestible messaging. My audiences fell into three categories: agents/brokers, customers, and employees.
Agents/brokers: Since Arbella sells its products through independent brokers, keeping them in the loop is critical. I managed our agent e-blasts, our agent magazines, and continually supported the production of marketing resources. In 2022, I successfully launched a brand-new interactive educational platform where agents could access webinars and training modules, and continued to manage the production and maintenance of those offerings.
Customers: Over two years, I nearly doubled our customer newsletter open rates. I’ve enjoyed developing comprehensive marketing plans that span social media, Arbella.com, and email blasts in support of our business strategies.
Employees: Our “small but mighty” (as we liked to say) communications team wore many hats, and one of those was internal communications. My writing supported the creation of HR materials, internal blogs, and D&I newsletters. I successfully developed and led communications plans for company-wide change initiatives, and I managed the company’s inter-office digital signage program.
It was incredibly rewarding to work with a variety of people across varying disciplines, and to become a go-to resource for my colleagues across the company.

2022 Corporate Annual Report
At the start of each year, I drafted and executed a project plan for our corporate annual report. I interviewed company leadership, wrote, and worked with an editor and designer to produce the booklet. Read the one we created in 2022 below.
Content Package: Winter Weather Loss Control
In December 2023, our commercial lines experts asked to communicate about winter loss prevention. I strategized and wrote the following e-blast and the content within its links.
