Interning with Yankee Publishing provided me with more wonderful opportunities than I could have ever dreamed of. One of these was the opportunity to create content for the web. I was encouraged to explore a wide variety of my writing interests, including food, history and folklore. Most importantly, I was able to establish a sense of place in the region I call home. The six states of New England are teeming with places to go, things to do and stories to uncover. I’m so grateful to have been able to do my part to share them.
In 2015, these posts lived on yankeemagazine.com. They now have a new home – newengland.com. The new site was unveiled in July, 2016 after many months of careful planning and development. Being a part of the preparation and aftermath of this launch equipped me with a digital skill set I’m certain I’ll use for years to come.
Click on each title to read the story on newengland.com. Here, they are listed by the date they were written, but as many are continuously updated and re-shared, you’ll find different dates listed on them on Yankee’s site. Browse them in that order on my author page.
I hope you enjoy reading these stories as much as I enjoyed writing them!
